EMPOWER
Your
Sexual Health

Hello, I go by Genevieve or GG & I use she/her pronouns. Nice to meet you.

I’m a Certified Sex Therapist (CST) licensed in clinical social work, serving the NJ tri-state area (NY, NJ, PA), soon Florida. Of nearly only 1,000 CSTs in the country, I’m one of only a few in the entire country who accept most commercial insurance plans. The Certificate of Sex Therapy is credentialed through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors & Therapists (AASECT).

I’m dedicated to supporting adults in getting through stress, securing meaningful relationships, & deepening self-awareness. I practice psychotherapy as an application of the humanities in healthcare, guiding people to wellness, authenticity, & discovery in the context of society & culture. I never frame work in pathology or blame. I offer talk therapy & other programming.

I talk about the whole person & all experiences. I’m also human myself: I’m a major foodie, wellness & fitness enthusiast, & avid world traveler. My specialties broadly are: Sex & aging; personal growth & self-esteem; general relationship challenges (family, friends, co-workers); sex and intimacy; Sexual & Gender Minoritized topics (LGBTQIA+); Women’s & Men’s mental health.

My style is direct, relational, modern, friendly, interactive, conversational, educational, evidenced-based, & supportive. I emphasize human sexuality, queer theory, philosophy, values coaching, & behavioral health consultancy through a socio-historical lens. I’ve trained with the Buehler Institute & the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes.

I like to describe sex therapy as talk therapy about human sexuality. Our sexual selves are connected to every aspect of our lives. It’s the ultimate fusion of my personal & professional values: Health & wellness, choice, privacy, freedom, education, empowerment, discovery, feminism, sensuality, integrity, social justice, service, dignity & worth of the person, & the importance of relationships.
